30 Years of Carpentry, Repairs & Problem Solving

1993-2011
My journey in carpentry started young, helping my uncle after school in his contracting and carpentry business. After trade school and my apprenticeship in the Netherlands, I started my own small carpentry company. Over time, we grew into a proper workshop, building custom windows, doors, restorations, renovations, and made to order woodwork.

2011–2015
In 2011, my family and I moved to the East Coast of Canada. Shortly after arriving, I became supervisor and manager of the maintenance and repair department at a large Canadia university a role that gave me valuable experience with repairs, maintenance, and building improvements across a large facility.

2015–2024
After four years, I returned to self-employment and started my own custom carpentry, maintenance, and repair company. Most jobs started small a repair, a deck, wood rot repair, a patio, log home restoration, or practical maintenance work. Often, those small jobs grew into long-term client relationships and bigger projects.

2025–2026
When my son completed trade school in Canada and earned his Red Seal certification, he joined the business. From that point on, we became a father and son team. Together we combined experience, training, and a shared approach to hands on craftsmanship and practical problem solving.

Today
After many successful years in Canada, we missed Europe and started a new chapter in Germany. I’m a Dutch-trained master carpenter and Canadian Red Seal carpenter and cabinetmaker with more than 30 years of hands-on experience in carpentry, repairs, renovations, and custom work. Today, I keep things simple: honest work, practical solutions, and helping people keep their homes and businesses in good shape. No big company attitude just solid craftsmanship and work done properly.
